It has been a big week. Massive. But many hands made for light(er) work and we managed to move 18 years worth of accumulated strength training equipment to our new space – at 91 Walnut Avenue. It was a huge challenge… downright Herculean. But so many people – coaches and members alike – turned out to help make it happen – and support in other ways. We’re definitely feeling the love!

Intended subject: A wide panorama of the new Bang gym space, with floor mats and stability balls on one side and squat racks, benches, and free weights on the other, under tall windows and exposed ductwork.. No matching asset in build/assets.
Wednesday morning’s session was, as promised, chaotic. The racks were in the same spots as above, only laying in pieces – with more plates strewn about the floor than a Greek wedding. But everyone showed up, improvised, adapted, and made it all work.
There’s still lots to be done. Like, so much. And it will take us weeks to put the finishing touches on things. But I think that everyone, myself included, feels like our new space is functional and beautiful. Combined with our new neighbourhood, everything feels like both an energetic upgrade and natural evolution of everything we’ve been working on. We are, it feels, exactly where we should be.
